Every now and then the Antipodes does something fantastic and those little islands to the right of Australian (if Oz is really at the bottom of the world), called New Zealand does something fantastic! Whilst they could be talking about The Hobbit, Gerri and Eugenia are not! They are talking about The Almighty Johnsons, a fantastic and little known show about Norse Gods, New Zealand culture and with really cute main characters. NZ is a funny country, just look at the NZ Airlines safety instructions on YouTube and you will understand! Being the first in the world to welcome in the New Year, NZ’ers have a way of looking at things differently and they did just that with this show! They are a country of migrants and are very welcoming so why wouldn’t the gods like Oden, Thor and all those other wonderful, eccentric characters from Scandinavia want to go there too? This funny, dramatic and clever little show is one of their favourites and Gerri and Eugenia have an interview with one of the main cast the wonderful Dean O’Gorman who played Anders, otherwise known as Bragi, the god of poetry and in his present form (of course it would be this) a PR guru! He was also in that movie that was mentioned before, you know that one with the hobbit in it where he played Fili. Gerri and Eugenia would like to thank, Daniel from Supanova Expo http://www.supanova.com.au and Lionel from http://www.lionelmidfordpublicity.com for the chance to interview Dean, watch out for their next exciting guests at a convention near you.
In a world far away, more than one hominid species survived and they come in all shapes and sizes! There are Men, Elves, Hobbits, Dwarves, as well as strange creatures and more! In their last podcast Eugenia and Gerri had a talk with a Hobbit from Middle-Earth and in this episode they talk with Dwarves and not just one or two or even three or four but 5 of them! Well, 5.5 really as Eugenia and Gerri talk to one twice!! They found that it was so much fun to talk to them that they just could not stop themselves from catching up with John Callen twice. So, what are they talking about, Middle-Earth, and the Dwarves of course. Eugenia and Gerri would like to thank Oz Comic Con and Blue Planet Public Relations http://www.blueplanetpr.com.au for their interviews with Jed Brophy (Nori), John Cullen (Oin) and Stephen Hunter (Bombur) catch them at http://www.ozcomiccon.com and Supanova Pop Culture Expo and Lionel Midford Publicity for their interviews with John Cullen (yes another interview), William Kircher (Bilfur) and Mark Hadlow (Dori), catch them at http://www.supanova.com.au and http://www.lionelmidfordpublicity.com for their next events.
