Dark Souls – Legends of the Flames

This book contains three individual stories, each with different writers and artists. The comic starts with the story of a nameless Knight who wanders into a house. Here he meets an old woman who tells him stories around a fire. Each story is independent though they are all set in a fictional medieval land ravaged by an “undead” curse.

This is an interesting coming book. I like the artwork, especially that of the Labyrinth. Each story was short and interesting and I liked the way they all where set into a common “universe”. My only criticism would be they use a few too many thus, thee and thous which made the story a little hard to read at times if you are not used to it.

All up, I thought it was an excellent comic book and I look forward to reading more.
