Morgan first appeared in the TOS movie Final Frontier, then onto Ira Graves in Schiziod Man (with Susie), Qatai in Voyager and then a Vulcan in Star Trek (2009), the only series they missed was DS9! issuu podcast 106Resistance is futile; you will listen to this episode as Eugenia and Gerri talk Borg. Are they the best villains ever come up with in a Sci Fi show? Whilst this species (if you can call them that), first came to our attention with the first appearance of Q and proved to Starfleet that there were some nasty surprises out there in the big bad Universe! So, where did they come from? There are many different ideas to where the originated, including, nano technology, to the integration of V’ger and Ilia and many more! If you want to find out more visit Memory Beta (A Star Trek Wiki) at http://memory-beta.wikia.com/wiki/Borg_history. Is the Borg one of the scariest baddies ever thought, what with assimilation, adaption, and their hive mind as the main weapons? One of the most iconic scenes in Sci Fi happened when Jonathan Frakes directed First Contact, who was not amazed as the Queen was constructed before our eyes? Then we turn to ST: Voyager when 7of 9, comes to us as the sexy Borg and we learn so much more about their ways! Then along comes the Borg children and one of those is whom Eugenia and Gerri interview in this episode. Manu Intiraymi, known as Icheb, the child who was made into a weapon by his people talks Borg and Star Trek. Eugenia and Gerri would like to thank Scotty from First Contact Conventions for the opportunity to interview Manu. issuu podcast 61Gerri and Eugenia talk about one of their favourite incarnations of Star Trek the sometimes maligned Star Trek Voyager! However, the appeal to the Women Talk Sci Fi presenters is of course that this show has more strong female characters than any other! A female captain and chief engineer and the best-looking Borg in all quadrants! However, this is not only their point of discussion they also talk about the most killed character on the crew, the longest serving Ensign in Starfleet, the very much indomitable Harry Kim. Yes, you guessed it the interview with this episode is none other than Garrett Wang who really is just as indomitable as his character was. So sit back and enjoy one of their most enjoyable interviews. Thanks to Scotty and Diana from First Contact Conventions http://www.firstcontactconventions.com.au
